Rice Flour Cake || Gluten Free Chocolate Sponge Cake




Now a days people are more concern about their diet. Try this gluten free spongy chocolate cake. It is absolutely delicious!

You can replace the powdered sugar with brown sugar and baking powder with 1/2 tsp vinegar.
Rice Flour Cake



Ingredients For The Cake:

  1. Eggs-2 large

  2. Oil-2 tbsp

  3. Milk-2 tbsp

  4. Vanilla essence-1/2 tsp

  5. Baking powder-1/2 tsp

  6. Cocoa powder-2 tbsp

  7. Powdered sugar-1/4 cup

  8. Rice Flour-1/4 cup

Preparation:
  • Take two large bowls; Separate the egg whites and egg yolks.

  • Beat the egg white on high speed until fluffy and stiff peaks obtain.

  • Keep it aside.

  • Mix egg yolk with all other ingredients.

  • Just mix it without beating and then start beating on low speed until combined.

  • Fold it once again to mix well.

  • Then add the egg white in to it by three additions and by gently folding.

  • Pour the batter in to a well greased non-stick pan (about 4 inch In the stove top;Place an old pan in the bottom and place the cake pan on top;  Cover the lid tight without any gap.

  • Cook on low flame for about 20 to 25 minutes (Checkout with a skewer whether it is ready or not).

  • Remold after cools down completely.

  • Top with any of your favorite toppings and enjoy...!
