How to Make Apple Cobbler Dump Cake
Time needed: 1 hour and 10 minutes.
- Prep the dish
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. With 1 tablespoon butter, grease the bottom and sides of a 9 x 13 baking dish. Stir together the brown sugar and cinnamon and spread it evenly over the bottom of the pan over the butter.
- Dump in the filling!
Dump the apple pie filling into the pan, spread evenly. Spread the cake mix evenly over the top. Cut the 1 ½ sticks of butter into small pieces and place evenly over top of the cake mix.
- Bake until golden
Bake for 55 minutes to 1 hour, or until the top is golden brown. Enjoy warm with a serving of vanilla ice cream!

Crissy’s Best Tips
- Use a high-quality butter. I like Kerrygold.
- Placing the slices of butter evenly over the cake will help ensure a more even texture on the top of the dish.
- Don’t forget to top with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream!
