Trifle Pudding - Recipe Book










Trifle pudding is beautiful and delicious dessert treat made
with cake pieces soaked in fruits and cream syrup. It’s a perfect recipe for a
party and can be prepared easily. You can also top it with whipped cream and
cheese cream topping according to you taste. choose your favorite piece of cake for making the trifle pudding. You can layer them in a pudding tray or a tall glass or a short glass as per your convenience.





Ingredients:


  1. Milk-1 1/2 cup + 1/2 cup

  2. Custard powder- 1/4 cup

  3. Sugar- 1/2 cup

  4. Cherry red colour jelly-1/4 cup

  5. Green color jelly- 1/4 cup

  6. Hot water-1 cup

  7. Cake pieces crumbled-11/2 cup

  8. Chopped fruits-11/2 cup (i used apple, banana and pomegranate)

  9. Sugar syrup-2 tbsp

  10. Sliced nuts and cherries-to garnish




Preparation:

  • Boil milk in a pan by adding sugar.

  • Mix custard powder with 1/2 cup normal temperature milk and mix well without any lumps.

  • Add it in to the boiling milk and stir well continuously until thickens (stir with the help of a hand whisk to avoid burning the pudding).

  • When it thickens turn off heat and allow to cool completely. (no need to place in refrigerator).

  • In two small bowls, add red jelly powder and green jelly powder separately.

  • Add 1/2 cup of hot water in each one and mix well without any lumps.

  • After cools down; place in freezer for 15-20 minutes to set (or refrigerate for an hour).

  • In another bowl mix chopped fruits with sugar syrup and mix well.

  • Keep all the prepared ingredients nearby (custard pudding, fruits, cake crumbs and prepared jelly).

  • Take two tall glasses and start layering them.

  • Add two tablespoons of custard pudding in each glass, then add chopped fruits followed by cake crumbs and jelly pieces.

  • Repeat the layering once again until reaches the top of the glass.

  • Lastly top it with some more custard pudding and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours to set.

  • You can assemble the remaining ingredients in short glasses also.

  • Serve chilled by garnishing on top with sliced nuts and cherries.
