Ingredients:
- Eggs_two large
- Flour_3/4 cup
- Powdered sugar_3/4 cup
- Sunflower oil_2 tbsp
- Hot milk_ 4tbsp
- Coffee powder_3/4 tsp
- Baking powder_1/2 tsp
- Baking soda_two pinch
- Salt_a pinch
Preparation:
- Sift the flour twice and keep aside.
- Mix hot milk with coffee powder and mix well.
- Grease a 6 inch baking pan with oil and line parchment paper.
- In a large dry bowl add two eggs; start beating until mixed well.
- Then add powdered sugar in three additions and beat on high speed until fluffy.
- Add oil and beat on low speed for few seconds to combine.
- Place a strainer on top and add saltbaking powder and baking soda.
- Add 1/3 part of the flour and sieve.
- Fold gently to combine well.
- Add 1/3 part of the milk coffee and fold gently.
- Then add 1/2 part of the remaining flour; fold it.
- Add remaining milk,followed by flour and milk.
- Pour in to greased baking pan and tap.
- Heat a Kadai on low flame placing a small stand inside for minutes.
- Place the baking pan on top of stand and cover the Kadai tightly.
- Cook on low flame for about 35_40 minutes or until done.
Apply whip cream frosting on top.
