Chakka Chilli / Crispy and Spicy Kathal Fry










A must try jack fruit recipe before the season ends.



Ingredients:




  1. Raw Jackfruit chopped-2 cup

  2. Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp

  3. Kashmiri chilly powder-1 1/2 tbsp

  4. Corn flour-2 tbsp

  5. Flour (maida)- 1 1/2 tbsp

  6. Salt-to taste

  7. Garam masala-1/2 tsp (optional)

  8. Oil-for deep frying

  9. Curry leaves-few

  10. Green chilly-few



Preparation:



  • Marinate jack fruit pieces with ingredients from 2 to 7 add enough water to coat well.

  • Deep fry them in hot oil on medium flame until crispy and done.

  • Fry some curry leaves and green chilies in the same oil and garnish it on top of fried jack fruit.

  • Serve warm and enjoy the crispy bites.
