Passion fruit is a pulpy fruit rarely get in seasons.Besides cooling; It has several health benefits as it is highly nutritious. So here is the solution for enjoying it through out the year. Collect them as many as you have and make squash out of it. Adding oranges along with it is optional; but it's been a great a combo.
Ingredients:
- Passion fruit- 10
- Orange-4 large
- Lemon-2 small
- Sugar-2 cup
- Water-1 cup
- Salt-a pinch
- Take out the pulp of passion fruits with the help of a fork. (discarding the white inner part).
- Extract the juice of oranges (by removing its seeds) without adding any water.keep aside.
- Take the juice of lemon and keep it aside.
- Heat a pan with sugar and water; boil for 5 minutes.
- Add the flesh of passion fruits, orange juice, lemon juice and salt; mix well.
- Cook for another 3 minutes and turn off heat (no need to boil).
- Allow to cools down completely.
- Pour in an air tight container and keep in fridge for about 6 months.
