Ingredients:
- Mushrooms-10-15 numbers (medium sized)
- Besan flour- 1/4 cup
- Rice flour- 1/4 cup
- Baking soda- 1/4 tsp (optional)
- Salt-to taste
- Ginger garlic paste-2 tsp
- Kashmiri red chilli powder-1 tbsp
- Oil-for deep frying
- Sugar-1/2 tsp
- Thinly chopped garlic-1 tbsp
- Chopped green chilli-3
- Curry leaves-3 springs
- Tomato sauce-2 tbsp
- Sweet chilli sauce-2 tbsp
- In a bowl mix beasan flour, rice flour, baking sda, salt and red chilli powder; mix well.
- Add ginger garlic paste and little water to make a smooth and thick batter.
- Add the mushrooms in to it and coat well.
- Drop them in to hot oil and deep fry until nice and crisp.
- Drain it from the oil and keep aside.
- Keep 1 tbsp of oil in the same pan and add sugar; mix well.
- Add chopped garlic and saute until golden in colour.
- Add
- green chilly and curry leaves; mix well.
- Add tomato sauce, chilli sauce and little salt.
- Cook for a minute and add the deep fried mushrooms.
- Mix well and turn off the heat.
- Serve soon for crispy and saucy mushroom bites!!
